The office sits on South Dixie Highway near the University of Miami. Many families pair an in person start with secure video later, when a standing weekday appointment is hard to protect.
Coral Gables
Home base, at 1390 S Dixie Hwy beside the University of Miami. The shortest path to in person sessions and the parent guidance that runs alongside a child's therapy.
Coconut Grove
North of the office, along the bay. Seen in person, and often by secure video during exam weeks, travel, or a summer away.
Pinecrest
South along the US-1 corridor. Support for anxiety, focus and organization, and the behavior patterns that surface at home first.
South Miami
Adjoining Coral Gables. Pediatrician referrals are welcome, and Dr. Wald can coordinate with a school when that helps a plan hold.
Key Biscayne
Reached only by the Rickenbacker Causeway, so telehealth is a practical alternative when the trip is hard to schedule. Both settings are open.
Brickell
Downtown, north of the office. Well suited to young adults and college students in early independence, in person or by video between commitments.
Kendall
West and south of the office. Care for children and adolescents with anxiety, mood, sleep, and behavior concerns, in person or by video.
Greater Miami
Families also come from Miami Beach, Doral, Coral Way, and beyond. When distance is the obstacle, telehealth removes it. The free consultation settles which setting works.
The Coral Gables office
In person sessions are held at 1390 S Dixie Hwy, Suite 1305, Coral Gables, FL 33146, Monday to Friday, 9:00 to 7:00, with Saturday by appointment.
The practice is out of network. Superbills are provided for families who plan to submit for out of network reimbursement. Scheduling and fees are covered on the consultation call.
Online therapy, and what PSYPACT means
Every online therapy search hits the same wall: a psychologist's license covers the state it was issued in, and the rule follows where the client is sitting, not where the therapist is. PSYPACT is the interstate compact that widens it, letting a psychologist with the right credential practice telepsychology into other participating states without a separate license in each one.
Florida
Dr. Wald is licensed in Florida. Children, adolescents, and young adults are seen in person in Coral Gables and by secure video anywhere in the state.
Maryland
She is also licensed in Maryland, covering families who have moved, students at Maryland schools, and households that split the year between the two states.
PSYPACT states
She holds PSYPACT authorization for telepsychology. Participation changes as legislatures act, so the current answer for a specific state is confirmed on the free consultation.
